Mr. Sandbag Footbag
The Mr. Sandbag is, in short, the best footbag on the planet for your money. The Mr. Sandbag has four panels and is filled with relatively course sand. This is the footbag that professional footbag players actually use (at least when they're not using a custom made 32-Panel like the Richard Abshire A-910). In fact, Jim Penske, who is unquestionably one of the best shredders in North America, used a Mr. Sandbag to win two out of three events at the Seattle Juggling and Footbag festival in Seattle last November. Plus, you will see the Mr. Sandbag being used on many of the videos in our free video gallery, as well as on the majority of the shred videos we sell.
The Mr. Sandbag (sometimes called the Mr. Sandman) Footbag is made here in Nampa, Idaho, USA whereas the vast majority of our competitors sell bags that are made in Pakistan, Guatemala, or China. We've received literally dozens of unsolicited samples from these countries. Many of these samples are kickable, but you would be hard pressed to do any real freestyle with them because the materials are simply too inflexible to properly give for stalling. The Mr. Sandbag, on the other hand, is made of a material that is so supple that it can be stalled easily (in comparison to inferior materials) right off the production line.
Still not convinced? See for yourself! We've come up with a simple test for determining the "stallability", the "roll-factor" of a footbag. A footbag is rolled from the top of a ramp inclined at approximately 45 degrees and allowed to come to rest. We performed our roll-test on three bags:
- (a) Generic 122-Panel (Pakistan)
- (b) 8-P "Sleaze Bag" - a "Dirtbag" equivalent/knock-off (Pakistan)
- (c) The Mr. Sandbag (Nampa, ID)
In ten out of ten tests, all the bags consistently placed: (c), (b), (a). The results shown in the picture above are a conservative representative example of these tests, where the The Mr. Sandbag (a) rolled 16.5 inches, the Sleaze Bag (b) rolled 24 inches, and the 122-Panel (c) rolled 36 inches. In several of the tests, the 122-P rolled well over 4 feet!

(For example, the "Job's Notation" for the advanced trick "Mullet" (shown in the bottom right corner of the flyer) is:
CLIP > DUCK [BOD] > (no plant while) OP IN [PDX][BOD][DEX] > OP CLIP [XBD][DEL]).
Along with serious dedication and the right equipment, this flyer can literally revolutionize your game in just a few weeks. In addition to illustrating the daunting and complicated move "Mullet," this flyer outlines four basic kicks and over 15 fundamental freestyle tricks/concepts. You can combine these fundamental concepts to create literally thousands of tricks!
